Investigations are continuing into a gun attack in Co Wicklow last night which left a 58 year old man injured.

He was shot when he answered the door to his home in Redford Park, Greystones at around half past nine.

He was taken to St Vincent's Hospital where he is in a stable condition.

Gardai say the gunmen made their getaway in a hatchback and are appealing for information.
