A 27 year old man has been killed after being hit by a vehicle in Dublin this morning.
He was walking on the N7 when he was hit by an SUV at Junction 3 Brownsbarn.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to Tallaght Hospital where a post mortem will take place.
The driver of the SUV was uninjured.
The road was closed to facilitate an examination but has since reopened
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Gardai.
