A 45 year old man has died in a workplace accident in County Wexford.

It's understood he was driving a digger at a quarry in Gorey when an incident occurred.

He's believed to be a local man.

The scene has been preserved and will be examined by Health and Safety Authority inspectors tomorrow.

Gardai and the HSA are investigating.
