A man has failed in his bid to make himself 20 years younger.
Dutchman Emile Ratelband had his request turned down by a judge earlier.
The 69 year old had applied to legally have two decades shaved off his age.
He compared his request with those from people seeking to switch their gender.
He thought the change would make him more attractive on dating apps.
However, a judge ruled that the issue was not just one of identity, but also the "rights and obligations" that are connected with age - such as the right to vote, marry and drink alcohol.
The court ruled, that such limits would "lose their meaning" if people were allowed to change their age at will.
