A man in his 20's has been killed in a single car accident in Limerick this morning.
He died when the car he was traveling in as a passenger left the road and hit a ditch on R511 - Fedamore to Limerick road at 2 am this morning.
The driver of the car, a woman, in her early 20's received minor injuries and was taken to University Hospital Limerick.
The road has been closed to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators examine the scene.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses particularly those who travelled the R511 close to Fedamore between 1am and 2.20am this morning, Tuesday 4th October 2016.
