Gardaí are continuing their investigation into a rape in Dublin.

An 18 year old Spanish woman reported the attack took place in the Pigeon House Road area of Ringsend at the weekend.

A 24 year old man arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge.

A file is being prepared for the DPP.
