A man who was arrested in connection with the murder of Paul Frank Byrne has been released without charge.

Mr Byrne went missing from his Tallaght home in 2009 and his remains were discovered near Blessington one year later.

A 22 year old was arrested in relation to the investigation yesterday morning in Baltinglass.

He was being questioned in Bray Garda Station but has since been released.
