Gardai are questioning a 48 year old man in connection with the theft of up to 15,000 euro from the pub of an All-Ireland winning Tippeary hurler.
The theft happened in Lar Corbett's pub on the 29th of August.
Following the incident Mr Corbett offered a 5,000 euro reward for any information.
This appeal lead to the arrest of the Cork man in Cork City yesterday afternoon, he has now been transferred to Thurles Garda Station for questioning.
