A man in his twenties has been seriously injured following a shooting in Dublin.
He was shot a number of times at Cherry Orchard Parade in Ballyfermot at around 6.15pm.
He has been taken to St James' Hospital with what's described as serious injuries.
Local Sinn Féin councillor Daithí Doolan says the community is in shock:
