Police in the North have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot to death in Belfast.
The shooting happened in the Comber Court area of Short Strand in East Belfast last night.
The man was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.
It's understood police are investigating a link between the man's death and the killing of Provisional IRA figure Gerard Jock Davison in Belfast in April.
