A man has been killed in shooting incident at a hotel in Drumcondra in Dublin.
2 other people have been injured in the incident, which is believed to have happened at a boxing weigh in, on the North side of the city.
The incident happened the Regency Hotel in Drumcondra at about 2.30pm today.
Emergency services responding to reports of a shooting discovered three men, all in their 20s or 30s, injured at the scene.
One of these men was subsequently pronounced dead. Two others have been taken to the Mater and Beaumont hospitals with possible gunshot wounds.
This man was in the hotel when the shooting happened. He says an AK47 was used.
The scene has been sealed off and a technical examination of the area is expected to take place.
