Earlier in this morning at around 7:55 a grey Opel Astra with false number plates (12 D 16387) was found on fire in a laneway off Clonliffe Avenue in Drumcondra not far from where the mans body was found. The car was stolen in the Dublin area in April. The scene is being preserved.

Gardaí are particularly appealing to taxi drivers and other motorists who have camera recording equipment on their dashboard or elsewhere on their vehicle and who were in vicinity of Dorset Street, Clonliffe Ave and surrounding areas of Dublin between 7am and 10am this morning. They would like to review any footage these people may have.
