Gardai are investigating a fatal stabbing at an apartment on Dock Road, Limerick.
At approximately 2 o' clock this morning Gardai were called to the apartment, following a report that a man in his 60's had been stabbed.
The man was brought to University Hospital Limerick where he was later pronounced dead.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
