A 41 year old man who turned himself in to Gardai last year is beginning a life sentence tonight, for a murder he committed 21 years ago.

Howard Kelly of The Osprey apartments in Naas, Co. Kildare was jailed today for the murder of Margot Seery.

Foul play was not suspected when the 48-year-old's body was found at her Rathmines apartment in October 1994.

But her body was exhumed last year, after Kelly told Gardai he had strangled her.
