A 52 year old man who for almost 30 years blocked out of the memory of the sexual abuse he suffered as a schoolboy has been awarded damages of 315 thousand euro.
The High Court has found that he was molested by Christopher Cosgrove, a former Marist brother at St JohnÂ’s National School in Sligo between 1969 and 1972.
