Gardai are investigating after a man's body was discovered on a road in Tallaght.
It was found at around 10.50 last night at Foxhill, Bohernabreena.
It's understood the man had been shot.
The body remains at the scene pending an examination, before a post mortem is carried out.
The road is currently closed.
Gardai in Tallaght are appealing for anyone who was in the area last night and who may have seen anything suspicious to contact them on 01-6666 000.
