A mans body has been washed up on a beach in Kinvara Co Clare 

He was found just before 9 pm on Sunday night and was pronounced dead at the scene by a local doctor

Gardai are looking for assistance in identifying the man. He is described as between 50 and 70 years old, approx. 5'7" in height, with reddish hair, receding hair line and blue eyes. His clothing and a number of items found on his person are described as follows;

" Grey Pin Stripe Trousers and Jacket with Irish Action Autism Badge " Black Belt Brass Buckle
" Pair of Black Mark and Spencers Trouser Braces
" Grey Debonham and Freeman Zip Jacket Size Small to fit size 38 to 96
" White handkerchief with light blue stripes on edges
" Brown Clarke Shoes Size 9 1/2
" 2 Mis-Matched Blue Socks
" Pink toe spacer in Left Shoe
