Marks And Spencer Workers Reject Labour Court Recommendation

Marks and Spencer workers have rejected a Labour Court recommendation for cost cutting measures.

Members of the Mandate and Siptu trade unions - 84 per cent of whom voted against the deal - claim it would lower their living standards.

The unions have invited the company back to the negotiating table.

Marks & Spencer employs approximately 2,300 workers in 17 stores.
