The family of Molly and Tom Martens claims they acted in self defence over the death of an Irishman in the US, and will plead not guilty.
His wife and her father have each been charged and will stand trial for Jason Corbett's murder in North Carolina.
The 39 year old Limerick man was found dead at his home in Wallburg in North Carolina in August last year - after what police described as a domestic disturbance.
He had two children from his previous marriage.
