The life and work of Veronica Guerin have been celebrated at a mass in Dublin to mark twenty years since her murder.
In his homily, The Archbishop of Dublin Diarmuid Martin said the journalist should be remembered as "not as a news story of the past, but as an example for today".
He said we must expose and condemn the violence and corruption of those who are involved in the drugs trade.
The Archbishop also said everyone must support the work of the Gardaí in fighting what he called "this traffic of death".
