A new cross border centre is offering free therapeutic short breaks for families affected by cancer, in the north and south.
Daisy Lodge in Newcastle in Co Down has been officially opened today by world number one golfer Rory McIlroy, who helped to fund the €3.8 million euro centre.
The facility, the first of its kind in Britain and Ireland, is operated by the Cancer Fund for Children charity.
