A candidate in the Seanad by-election says he'll seek legal advice if Fine Gael's John McNulty wins the seat - and refuses to resign it.
Sources close to Mr McNulty say he'll consider taking the seat if he wins the election, despite pulling out of the race three days ago.
Meanwhile Fianna Fail has accused the Taoiseach of gagging the arts minister, as she refuses to name the Fine Gael official who arranged Mr McNulty's appointment to IMMA.
