Members of SIPTU in Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann will meet this morning after an overwhelming majority voted in favour of strike action at the companies.
The dispute with the Minister for Transport and the National Transport authority centres on plans to privatise 10 per cent of both routes.
In a ballot for industrial action over 90 per cent voted in favour of downing tools.
