A number of Labour party members are calling for a change of leadership as the party meets this afternoon.

The mood among some is that it's time for a change of leadership.

Ex-TD Michael McCarthy said that it may be time for Joan Burton to go:Minister Jan O'Sullivan said that any new leader should be from the younger generation of Labour.But John Lyons - another who lost his seat recently - said there's a problem with that idea.Some former TDs said that the party shouldn't rush to change the leadership, saying it did nothing for them when Eamon Gilmore resigned.

While Joan Burton herself refused to address the leadership on the way into a stormy meeting.
