A mental health campaigner is calling for 24/7 crisis centres for people in emotional distress.

Conor Cusack says there is a suicide crisis in his home county of Cork, after 16 people have died by suicide in 16 days.

Gerry Adams has praised mental health ambassadors Cusack, but said they need the state to back up their campaigns with action.
