With the Dublin Pride Festival in full flow, numerous events are taking place in the capital.

Liberty Hall in Dublin is  illuminated with all the colours of the rainbow.

The rooftop of the home of SIPTU lights up in rainbow colours for Dublin Pride each night until June 28th.

The trade union's described it as "a demonstration of solidarity with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community".

SIPTU members will also join the Dublin Pride Parade which takes place on Saturday 28th June leaving the Garden of Remembrance at 1:30 p.m.

Mental health is a key topic up for discussion over this weekends events - with many members of the LGBT Community suffering in silence.

Scott Aherne, from SeeChange.ie said many people don't want others to know they're dealing with mental health issues.
