Tonight will be one of the best nights to see shooting stars.

20 times more stars than normal will be visible as the Geminid meteor shower peaks.

Stargazers can expect to see two shooting stars every minute and Astronomy Ireland is asking everyone to get involved in its National Meteor Count.
