Former F1 champion Michael Schumacher has left hospital in Lausanne more than eight months after suffering serious head injuries in a skiing accident.
His family says he will now recuperate at home in Switzerland
In December last year the seven-time world champion was on a skiing holiday with his family in the French resort of Meribel when Schumacher hit his head on a rock in a fall.
That resulted in him being placed in a medically-induced coma.
His family says progress remains slow - but it's sufficient enough for him to return home.
But they warn there is still a long and difficult road ahead.
