The Women's mini-marathon has reversed a decision to ban a visually impaired woman from running with a male running guide.
Sinead Kane - who has just 5 per cent vision - was told her guide John O'Regan could not take part in the event, despite the fact that he wouldn't be competing.

The Sports Council originally offered to put a call out on social media for a female running guide, which Sinead found insulting.
But in the past hour, the mini marathon says it's reviewed its policy, and will allow male assistants a special permit to guide visually impaired or wheelchair entrants.

Sinead told the Anton Savage Show that she's delighted.
