The Government's signed off on new laws setting down a minimum price for alcohol.

The Cabinet signed off on the measures earlier today - which include health warnings, calorie labelling and changes to how alcohol can be advertised.

However the bill stops short of an outright ban on the sponsorship of sporting events by alcohol companies.
