A cabinet minister has suggested that further investigation may be needed into allegations of bugging at the Garda Ombudsman Commission.
Joan Burton says it's important to clarify what surveillance may have been carried out on GSOC's headquarters.
Speaking at Labour's party conference in Co Meath, she's ruled out an independent inquiry, saying similar inquiries have been expensive and unhelpful in the past.
But she's said it's important to have confidence in the Garda Ombudsman - and to get to the bottom of any suspected surveillance.
