A Welsh seismograph has recorded a minor tremor which was experienced in the Wexford area earlier this evening.

There were reports on social media that the tremor was noticeable in Wexford at around 9pm.

The recording of the tremor was made at LLynfaes, a station in the Isle of Anglesey, off the coast of Wales.

It shows a brief recording of a quake between 8.30pm and 9.00pm. (see image from British Geological Survey.)

There are no reports of any damage.
