The family of a missing Irish woman in France has confirmed her body has been found.

In a Facebook post by Eimear Noonan's brother, he says French authorities informed them of her death after an accidental fall while out running.

Eimear, from Co Clare, was living in the town of Annonay where she worked as an English teacher.

Cathal Noonan described his sister as a 'warm, bubbly person', and has appealed for privacy on behalf of the family.
