Today's budget has been described as "an inch deep and a mile wide."  Its a budget that delivers something small to a large number of people.

Modest tax cuts, more nurses, and gardai and an increase in the money for childcare are all included.

The Child and Family Agency Tusla also gets additional resources but  there is no one big ticket item.
