Prefabricated – or modular homes, are being shown to Dublin councillors, as a possible housing solution for homeless families.
Dublin councils spent over 4.5 million on emergency hotel accommodation for families in the first six months of the year.
There are currently around 600 families with almost 1300 children in emergency accommodation.
