Molly Martens Corbett has been ordered not to contact her step-children as part of her bail conditions.

The 32 year old and her 65 year old father Thomas Martens have been released on bail after appearing before a court in North Carolina, charged with the murder of Limerick man Jason Corbett.

He died following an alleged domestic dispute at the couple's home in North Carolina in August last year.

Mr Corbett's children from his first marriage are now being raised by Mr Corbett's sister in Limerick.

The Judge at Davidson County Superior Court granted bail last night subject to a security of 200 thousand dollars each.
