'Money for Nothing' plan rejected by Swiss voters

Voters in Switzerland have rejected a plan to give citizens an unconditional basic income, even if they don't work.

Provisional results show almost 77% of people opposed the idea.

The 'money for nothing' proposal would have awarded adults the equivalent of almost €2,000 per month.
