The Education Minsiter has announced an extra two and a half hours of resource teaching for children who have been diagnosed with mild Down Syndrome.
In recent weeks parents of children with Down Syndrome have been vocal about how the diagnosis could mean their children would get no extra resource teaching.
But those children with a higher IQ than some of their counterparts are now to get the extra hours.
