Mandate Trade Union says more strikes are likely at Dunnes Stores.
It follows a meeting organised by the union - which represents about two-thirds of staff at the supermarket - at its Dublin headquarters this afternoon.
Mandate says the dispute - over low-hour contracts and working conditions - will now be ‘escalated’ and a national demonstration is also on the cards.
Over 6-thousand workers turned out on the first one-day strike on Holy Thursday, and MandateÂ’s Gerry Light says more action is likely to follow.
