Police in the US city of Baltimore have fired smoke bombs and pepper pellets at protesters defying a night-time curfew.
TV footage shows a large group of people out on the streets, despite being told to stay at home between 10pm and 5am local time.
Violent demonstrations started yesterday following the funeral of Freddie Gray - a young black man who was fatally injured while in police custody.
