Over 1,300 people with mortgage arrears found long-term resolutions to the problem with the help of the Irish Mortgage Holders Organisation.
1,330 homeowners in difficulty with their mortgage repayments availed of the service, which is available free of charge to all AIB Group customers.
The pilot scheme has been in operation for a year, and because it's so successful it's being offered for a further 12 months.
It will have an expanded team to deal with the 125 calls it receives every day.
