The busiest hour of the day on Twitter in Ireland is between 10 and 11 at night.

According to research by digital agency Eighty-Twenty, Wednesday is the busiest day of the week on Twitter.

The study also shows that Dublin and Cork users post almost half of all Irish tweets.

However it also reveals that the most active tweeters per head of population are in Louth.
