A 25-year-old motorcyclist has died following a crash near Nurney in County Kildare.

The collision between a motorbike and a van took place near Walterstown Cross at quarter past six this evening.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene - and his body was removed to Naas Hospital for a post-mortem.

Gardaí are asking for any witnesses to contact them.
