A motorcyclist has died in a crash in County Kilkenny.

The single vehicle accident happened at Ballymack near Cuffesgrange at about 9.15 this morning.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road has been closed to allow Garda Forensic Collision Investigators to examine the scene.
