Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash in county Kerry.
A motorcyclist lost his life in the incident that occurred at around 7 o' clock this evening near the village of Ballyheigue in north Kerry.
The man in his mid 30s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination will be carried out at University Hospital Kerry in Tralee.
The R551 road, linking Tarbert and Tralee remains closed for a forensic examination.
Anyone who witnessed the single vehicle crash is asked to contact Gardaí.
