Wintry weather has swept the UK, with many travellers left stranded as heavy snow covered roads and forced two airports to close.
However, here in Ireland it's a very different picture - wintry showers aren't expected to feature over the coming days.
This morning any patches of ice will clear to give a cold day with sunshine in many places.
The only chance of snowfall is on Northern hills.

There are reports of patches of ice are lingering on some roads around the country, as temperatures dipped to freezing in places.
Drivers are being warned to take extreme care, and to slow down as there's a risk of black ice.
AA Roadwatch are reporting 4 crashes on the M1 southbound between Junction 20 Jonesborough and Junction 15 Castlebellingham.
