Zimbabwe's ruling party has officially notified President Robert Mugabe of his removal as the country's president.
The party he founded, Zanu-PF, has removed him as leader.
It blames the 93 year-old for the country's 15 years of economic problems.
He has still not resigned, so proceedings are under way for his impeachment.
In a speech on state TV yesterday, Mugabe vowed to stay in power for several weeks.
