Fine Gael TD Michelle Mulherin has repaid a further €1,300 to the Oireachtas over phone calls made to Kenya.
The repayment follows an Oireachtas investigation which found that her phone calls to Kenya ost more than the €2,000 she had already repaid.
The Mayo TD had complained that she was identified as the person behind the phone calls, which was a breach of her constitutional rights.
However an internal Oireachtas investigation it was found that Deputy Mulherin had not been identified by Leinster House authorities.
Instead it found that journalists at the Sunday Times had been able to identify Deputy Mulherin by matching the dates of the anonymous calls to the attendance records of TDs and Senators.
Deputy Mulherin subsequently agreed to a series of radio interviews where she confirmed that she was responsible for the calls.
She says that although the calls were incurred in the ordinary course of her Oireachtas duties, she was agreeing to personally cover their cost in order to minimise any distraction the affair was causing.
