Gardai are expected to launch a murder inquiry later, after a woman was stabbed to death in South Dublin yesterday.
65 year old widow, Jane Braidwood, was attacked at her home in Clarinda Park East, Dún Laoghaire shortly before 5 o'clock yesterday evening.
The mother of 3 - who was originally from Australia - was taken to St. Vincent's University Hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
