Gardai in Kerry say a murder investigation is underway after a man in his 70's died following an incident in Ballyduff this morning.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene of a collision involving a car and teleporter farm vehicle at Rattoo.

The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the teleporter was uninjured.

A man, in his 60's, has been arrested and he is being detained at Listowel Garda station.
